Elle is the creator and sole maker behind Rare Bear, an independent jewellery brand that celebrates raw beauty, organic texture, and movement. Since launching in 2020, she has been creating distinctive, wearable works of art for those drawn to earthy aesthetics, natural forms, and the unique character of handmade imperfections.

Rare Bear is a small, independent business, with every piece designed, carved, sculpted, finished, and carefully prepared by Elle herself. Her jewellery is made slowly and intentionally, without mass production or assembly lines. This hands on approach means that production takes time, but it also ensures that every creation receives the attention and care it deserves.

Her work is rooted in the ancient art of Lost Wax Casting, one of the oldest jewellery making techniques. Each piece begins as a wax form, carefully hand carved, sculpted, and moulded before being cast in silver, bronze, or brass. This meticulous process means that no two creations are ever exactly alike, making every piece truly individual.

Inspired by the natural world, Elle captures its rugged elegance through texture, form, and movement. Weathered landscapes, flowing water, and the raw beauty of organic shapes all influence her designs. Ethically sourced precious stones and crystals are thoughtfully incorporated to bring depth, colour, and vibrancy to each piece, while reflecting Rare Bear’s commitment to conscious and sustainable practices.
